Job summary

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide medical and therapeutic support under nursing supervision in a behavioral health setting in Memphis, Tennessee.

You will assist with patient care, safety monitoring, documentation, and coordination of transport while upholding dignity and privacy in all interactions. Training in CPR/de-escalation will be provided; prior relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification or state-required CNA training completed.
• Experience in behavioral health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under direction of nursing/clinical staff.
• Monitor patient safety and observe patients on a 15-minute cycle as assigned.
• Assist with transferring, lifting, turning and moving patients.
• Document vitals, observations and care in patient records timely and accurately.
• Ensure patient rooms are clean, comfortable and respectful.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and health care team.
