Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital in Reno, NV is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Acute Rehab Unit. You will deliver safe, patient-centered care, support the healthcare team, and uphold Patient Centered Care principles in a busy rehab setting.

Responsibilities include bedside shift reporting, delegation of tasks with the Supervising RN, and addressing patient and family psychosocial and diversity needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited C.N.A. program preferred.
• Current Nevada C.N.A. license required.
• Current BLS certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Completes Bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care.
