Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services is seeking a Behavior Clinician contractor in Virginia (Front Royal/Salem) to provide behavioral health services for children and adults. The role supports ongoing assessments, plan implementation, and coordination across home, school, and community settings.

Qualifications

• Experience with behavioral intervention or related psychology emphasis.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged individuals.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and move between seated/standing positions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing assessments to meet patient needs.
• Coordinate home, work, and community visits with supervisors and caregivers.
• Maintain monthly schedules of appointments, visits, and observations.
• Ensure Behavior Intervention Plan is implemented effectively.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other required meetings.
• Complete monthly and/or quarterly progress notes.
• Organize training to certify staff on Plan implementation and documentation.
• Provide follow-up visits and observations for ongoing support.
• Maintain strong clinical records for accessibility to stakeholders.
• Act as liaison with mental health community to support goals.
• Assist in creating training materials to improve programs.
