Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Manager, Clinical Operations for Behavioral Health Services to lead campus-level program administration in partnership with Medical Directors. The role focuses on patient safety, satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

The position oversees contracts, budgets, and policy development while guiding performance improvement and accreditation readiness. It also involves recruiting and mentoring staff, with clear objectives aligned to strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in family therapy, psychology, counseling, social work or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Three years' experience in the provision of mental health services.
• Two years experience in administrative, management or leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Represent Behavioral Health at campus level as subject matter expert for campus leaders.
• Ensure compliance with NJ DMHAS/DCF and Joint Commission regulations for Behavioral Health Services.
• Coordinate state contracting requirements; liaise with sub-contractors on grant programs.
• Collaborate with legal and finance to manage contracts, budgets and expense reporting.
• Develop and standardize program policies and procedures; ensure quality and safety standards.
• Track, analyzes, and reports on data and metrics; drive improvement initiatives.
• Recruit, develop and supervise team members; coach and evaluate performance.
