Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Copper Springs facility is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to lead psychiatric and substance-use services across inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will develop and implement treatment modalities, oversee discharge planning, and ensure compliant clinical documentation while guiding a multidisciplinary team toward evidence-based care. This role emphasizes patient-centered outcomes and regulatory excellence.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited school.
• Independent Counseling or Social Work license required per state regulations.
• Three years of clinical experience in an inpatient behavioral health care setting.
• Three years of experience with patient populations served at the facility.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.
• De-escalation certification required within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all clinical treatment programs for psychiatric and substance-use patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, integrated clinical services and leadership for counseling.
• Develop and implement therapeutic modalities and oversee discharge planning.
• Ensure clinical documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Provide oversight and feedback to therapists through evaluations and corrective counseling.
• Coordinate performance improvement initiatives and monthly reporting.
• Attend treatment team meetings to support coordinated patient-centered care.
• Communicate treatment plans with patients and families.
