Job summary

Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health is seeking a Practice Manager for the Washington, DC location. Lead daily clinic operations, coordinate provider schedules, and drive patient-centered service with a focus on efficiency and high-quality care.

You will supervise non-provider staff, manage workflows across sites, and partner with clinical leaders to achieve financial and service goals in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in healthcare office management and direct staff supervision.
• Proven experience in medical office or behavioral health practice management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clinicians, staff, and patients.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with healthcare software and administrative systems.
• Effective leadership, motivation, and goal-setting abilities.
• Sound understanding of healthcare finance and best practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and leadership of daily clinic operations at Washington, DC location.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming environment at both sites.
• Establish and maintain appropriate levels of office/medical supplies and clinical equipment.
• Ensure clinic workflows operate efficiently and in alignment with Kolmac standards.
• Coordinate and manage provider schedules and onboarding of new providers.
• Monitor appointment availability and ensure same-day access where possible.
• Oversee cash collections, payer mix, and accounts payable activities.
• Lead regular team meetings and foster a collaborative culture.
