BayCare Health Systems is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Charge RN for Winter Haven Behavioral Health in Winter Haven, FL. The role supports patient care, staffing, and leadership during nights with a 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM shift, every other weekend, and no on-call requirement.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of RN acute care experience and at least 1 year in leadership, a Bachelor’s in Nursing, and BLS certification. RN licensure is essential; psych specialty is preferred.

BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced a Behavioral Health Charge RN to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Winter Haven Behavioral Health in Winter Haven, FL!

• Facility: Winter Haven Behavioral Health
• Location: Winter Haven, FL
• Status: Full-Time, Exempt: No
• Shift Hours: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• Shift: Nights
• Weekend Work: Every Other
• On Call: No

The Charge Nurse is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.

The Charge Nurse Is Responsible For:

• Acting as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team.
• Developing self and team members and sharing organizational information.

Required

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• Nurse Specialty - preferred

Education:

• Bachelor's in Nursing -

or approved psych certification obtained within 7 months of hire.

Experience:

• 2 year RN in an Acute Care Setting
• 1 year of leadership experience -
