Job summary

University Health is seeking a Community Support Specialist (Case Worker) for the Behavioral Health Community team in Kansas City, Missouri. This full-time role 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, involves engaging clients on emotional wellbeing, finances, social life, and career goals, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or related human services field, or equivalent combination.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong leadership abilities.
Ability to evaluate program outcomes.
Ability to work with multicultural staff and clients.
Willingness to meet clients in community settings.
Valid driver’s license and eligibility per Fleet Driving Safety policy.
Completion or pursuit of Benefits Planning certification within 12 months.
Completion of orientation/training as directed by leadership.

Responsibilities

Provide behavioral and socially rehabilitative services to clients.
