Job summary

OhioGuidestone is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist to provide case management for children and families with mental health and substance use diagnoses. Services may be delivered via telehealth, outpatient offices, and community settings.

The role involves coordinating resources, crisis intervention, and collaboration with treatment teams to develop and implement individual treatment plans, with a focus on recovery and ongoing client support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years relevant experience and able to demonstrate competencies in basic behavioral health skills.
• Experience with case management, crisis intervention and treatment coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to a diverse clientele of children and families with mental health and substance use diagnoses.
• Coordinate community resources including schools and outpatient providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide crisis intervention consultation in emergencies for coordination and stabilization as needed.
• Attend team/clinical meetings and mandatory trainings; maintain documentation and communicate with agencies.
