Job summary

JES Tech in Richland, WA is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Services (BHS) Case Manager to support employees receiving behavioral health services through the Hanford DOE Occupational Medical Services program. The role centers on care coordination, referrals, and education to navigate return-to-work and EAP services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant professional experience in case management, healthcare, behavioral health, or related setting.
• Experience coordinating services with healthcare professionals and community providers.
• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with standard office software and electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Care Coordination and Resource Referral: Identify barriers and develop individualized case management plans.
• Coordinate services among Occupational Health, behavioral health providers, and community resources.
• Support return-to-work, leave-related, and fitness-for-duty processes with clinical staff.
• Assist EAP clients in identifying long-term community-based behavioral health services.
• Provide referrals and transition-of-care support for counseling and community programs.
• Follow up with clients to monitor progress and maintain continuity of care.
• Advocate for clients and help understand treatment recommendations and next steps.
• Build and maintain relationships with community providers and referral partners.
• Education and Outreach: Develop materials and maintain a network of resources.
• Provide guidance on care plans, workplace wellbeing, and return-to-work needs.
• Assist with presentations and outreach for contractors and work groups.
