Job summary

Men’s Health Foundation is seeking a Behavioral Health Coordinator to join the clinical administration team in Los Angeles. This non-clinical role manages referrals, supports continuity of care, and helps patients navigate Behavioral Health services.

You will perform care coordination, maintain accurate EHR records, protect patient privacy under HIPAA, and collaborate with Behavioral Health clinicians and other departments to improve access and reduce delays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or behavioral health administrative roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal and external Behavioral Health referrals from receipt to completion.
• Maintain referral status with follow-up to address needs and ensure closure.
• Coordinate patient outreach and non-clinical care coordination as directed.
• Assist patients in navigating barriers to care and connect to resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and protect patient information.
