Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of healthcare office experience helpful.
• Must have medical terminology, excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency with commonly used office software and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient bed placement and/or float pool staffing as needed.
• Enter, maintain and archive data using multiple software platforms.
• Identify and communicate issues to Nursing leadership and prioritize safe utilization of resources.
• Create and distribute ad-hoc reports on management request.
• Operate in a hospital-wide capacity affecting patient throughput and resource allocation.
