Summit BHC is hiring a Behavioral Health Associate for the Day and Swing shifts at The Ranch at Dove Tree in Lubbock, Texas. This on-site role supports a multidisciplinary treatment team, monitors client behaviors, and participates in crisis response and routine care.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least six months of relevant experience; CPR and de-escalation training are required. The position emphasizes safety, patient education, and coordination with the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months or more experience with the specific population preferred.
• Knowledge of common psychiatric disorders and dual diagnosis and treatment modalities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, structured environment and supervise clients.
• Conduct safety checks and report significant observations to supervisor.
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities and group sessions.
• Record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with transportation and incident reporting as needed.
• Orient new clients to programs and activities and support participation.
