Acadia Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Health Associate to provide compassionate care and support to patients in a new mental health facility. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, conducting regular safety checks, and facilitating therapeutic activities. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma and have relevant experience, with CPR and de-escalation certification required.

Opening in Fall 2025, Capitol Park Mental Health Hospital, 144-bed, located at the former site of Bethesda Hospital, will offer inpatient, intensive outpatient and "partial hospitalization" mental health treatment.
Our BHAs are responsible for providing personal care services to patients at the facility under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership. Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
· Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Six months or more experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred.
· CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
· First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
