Qualifications

Position: Behavioral Health Associate

Department: Mercy STL

Shift: FT Nights - 6:30pm to 7:00am with rotation of weekends and holidays

Overview:

Under the supervision of a registered nurse, assist in providing individualized care to patients aimed at achieving their highest physical and mental wellness. Perform designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks essential to nursing care. Support unit operations and perform duties consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:
  • Preferred Education: High School Diploma and/or Nurse Assistant training
  • Preferred Experience: Behavioral Health, Psychiatry, or Direct Support Professional
  • Physical Demands: Lift floor to waist height < 30 lbs horizontally, < 40 lbs force; balance; frequent hand coordination and data entry
