Columbus Springs Dublin, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an Assessment Specialist for its behavioral health team. This full-time role on day shift (7am–7pm) focuses on initiations of assessments, care level designation, admissions, and timely follow-up, with emphasis on compassionate patient service.

Candidates should hold an associate degree in nursing or a master’s in social work or counseling, be licensed in OH, and demonstrate strong clinical assessment skills; CPR and CPI certification

Qualifikationen

• Current clinical, social work, or RN license in the state of OH
• Prior experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility working with adult and geriatric patients preferred.
• Must have strong clinical assessment skills.
• CPR and CPI certified within 30 days.

Aufgaben

• Facilitates response to a request for services, including the initial response, the assessment, and referral process, the designation of the appropriate level of care, admission into services, and appropriate follow up activity.
• Conducts initial evaluation, initiates the assessment, documents patient symptomology, functioning, and needs and provides information to MD for LOC determination.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills in assisting patients, physicians, visitors, and coworkers in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Possess clear knowledge of Emergency Detention paperwork and processes and EMTALA.
• Other duties as assigned.
