Job summary

Delta-T Group in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Behavioral Health Aide to support students in educational settings, providing dependable, on-site assistance under supervision.

You will work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning, assist in IEP implementation, document daily activities, and help monitor progress, behavior, and assignment completion, contributing to a structured, supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• 2 years experience working with at risk youth.
• Must produce health documents including physical, TB test, CPR and First Aid certification.

• Works with students to reinforce learning and social skills.

HOURS

• Long term contracts, Flexible hours available

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Maintains appropriate workplace decorum including adhering to the schedule as outlined.
• Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning and social skills initially introduced by the teacher or other professional.
• Assist in the implementation of the IEP for the student and helps monitor progress.
• Documents student's daily activities (e.g. behavior, assignment completion, etc.) for the purpose of completing daily logs.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of a Bachelors Degree (preferred)
• 2 years experience working with at risk youth.
• Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.l
• Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid certification
