Job summary

Delta-T Group Los Angeles, Inc. is seeking a Youth Care Worker to support high‑risk youth in Pasadena foster care settings. You will engage with youths, assist with schoolwork, and provide line‑of‑sight supervision under caregiver direction.

The role offers flexible, part‑time or long‑term opportunities with evenings and weekends, weekly pay, and a commitment to safety and compassionate care in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with at risk individuals (paid or unpaid).
• CPR and First Aid certifications (and TB test) required.
• High School diploma or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide services for high and at-risk children and youth with behavior and/or mental health challenges.
• Majority of work will be in Foster Care Homes, under the direction of caregiver/foster parent.
• Engage with the youths. Assist with schoolwork and ask about their life (likes or dislikes).
• Provide line of sight supervision without overwhelming the child.
• Redirect negative and problematic behaviors.

Our client is seeking a Youth Behavioral Aide in the Pasadena area.

AVAILABLE HOURS

• Long term independent contractor or Part-time shifts
• Evening and weekend hours

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Experience working with at risk individuals (paid or unpaid)
• Produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid certification
• High School diploma or higher
• Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
