Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking a Behavioral Health Aide to support students in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers long-term contracts with flexible hours, including evenings and weekend opportunities, enabling a tailored schedule to fit your availability.

Responsibilities include reinforcing learning and social skills with individuals or small groups, assisting with IEP implementation, and documenting daily activities to track progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• At least 2 years experience working with at-risk youth.
• Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, TB TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid certification.
• Arrest or conviction records considered in accordance with LA Fair Chance Act.

HOURS

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Maintains appropriate workplace decorum including adhering to the schedule as outlined.
• Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning and social skills initially introduced by the teacher or other professional.
• Assist in the implementation of the IEP for the student and helps monitor progress.
• Documents student's daily activities (e.g. behavior, assignment completion, etc.) for the purpose of completing daily logs.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of a Bachelors Degree (preferred)
• 2 years experience working with at risk youth.
• Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.l
• Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid certification
