Job summary

Liberation Programs is seeking an Admissions Coordinator for Stamford Outpatient Services to coordinate admissions, conduct assessments, and assign the appropriate level of care to applicants. You will manage walk-ins and referrals, maintain waiting lists, and support program capacity and orientation.

Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success. The role emphasizes coordinating with treatment teams, engaging referral sources, and ensuring efficient admissions

Qualifications

• CT State License preferred (LCSW, LMFT, LADC, LPC)
• Minimum of two years’ experience in behavioral health screening, assessment and referral processes
• Familiar with data management and electronic medical records systems
• Strong organizational skills and abilities to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines while providing exceptional customer service
• Knowledge of state and federal behavioral health regulations preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage admissions processes: walk-ins, calls, and referrals; schedule intake; prioritize admissions and maintain waiting lists
• Manage recoveree admissions to create a welcoming environment and ensure engagement in treatment
• Network with referral resources and represent Liberation Programs at local community meetings
• Manage census and utilization data; generate reports on admissions, bed vacancies, and trends
