Qualifications

• AA Degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field; or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years in a mental health setting preferred.
• Experience in interviewing, treatment planning, and communicating with external review organizations.
• Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Input referrals and patient information into the computer system.
• Consult with potential patients, families, medical staff, and hospital staff.
• Communicate current assessments, referrals, and levels of care with patients/families.
• Screen, triage, and arrange admissions in collaboration with A&R staff.
• Provide information to referral sources and external referrals as needed.
