BHC Alhambra Hospital, a private, fully accredited psychiatric facility in Rosemead, CA, seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for psychiatric nursing roles with child/adolescent development focus. Inpatient care across pediatric to adult populations is provided.
Responsibilities include data collection, vital signs, observing changes, and communicating with the Charge Nurse. Licensure by the State Board of Nursing or Psychiatric Technicians is required.

Job Description: The LPT performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.
Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing or vocational training as a psychiatric technician, preferably with education in Child and Adolescent Development.
Minimum one (1) year LVN in psychiatric nursing preferred, with six (6) months experience in the specialized area of Child and Adolescent Development preferred.
Licensed to practice vocational nursing from the State Board of Nursing or Psychiatric Technicians.
