Job summary

Haven Behavioral Hospital of Eastern PA seeks an Admissions/Intake Specialist to support inquiry responses, initial assessments and admissions coordination. This full-time role covers 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts with EOW rotation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Bachelor's Degree and prior intake/admissions experience are required. You will work with a dedicated team to ensure compliant, compassionate patient access to care.

Responsibilities

• Responds to inquiry calls and schedules assessments in a timely manner.
• Conducts intake assessments according to Joint Commission and state regulations.
• Coordinates pre-certification and admissions processes for patients.
• Delivers patient services in a respectful manner to promote dignity and satisfaction.
• Identifies safety needs and reports concerns to clinical staff.
• Communicates with patients and families considering age, disability and cultural needs.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
