Job summary

Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington seeks an Admissions (A&R) Clinician to serve as the primary contact for individuals seeking mental health treatment. You will conduct intake assessments, determine levels of care, and coordinate with treatment teams.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team. You will verify insurance, manage authorizations, document interactions, and support families

Qualifications

• Master's degree with active clinical licensure or RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• De-escalation Training: Handle with Care (HWC).
• Knowledge of behavioral health principles and regulatory standards.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR and Windows-based documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments to determine levels of care.
• Evaluate psychosocial, emotional, and behavioral health needs across ages.
• Apply developmentally appropriate, culturally sensitive clinical decision‑making.
• Coordinate admissions with families, referral sources, and teams; document interactions.
• Verify insurance coverage and coordinate authorizations; track referrals and data.
• Respond to high‑volume calls and manage intake appointments.
