Job summary

Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington is seeking an Admissions (A&R) Clinician to guide patients and families through the admission process and determine appropriate levels of care. The role combines clinical assessment with customer service within a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

You will coordinate with families, referral sources, and treatment teams, verify insurance coverage, document interactions, and respond to referrals and walk-ins.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with active licensure in a behavioral health field.
• Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation.
• Knowledge of insurance coverage and authorization processes.
• Strong communication and culturally sensitive care.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to determine level of care.
• Coordinate admissions between patients, families, and treatment teams.
