Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Residential Coordinator to help coordinate admissions for out-of-home behavioral health services. You will liaise with utilization management teams, behavioral health homes, and residential providers to ensure timely access to appropriate care and to support continuous coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires strong clinical knowledge, organizational skills, and ability to work across provider networks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Arizona behavioral health system, behavioral health network operations, and community-based treatment resources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel) and electronic documentation systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time within Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate residential treatment referrals and admissions for out-of-home behavioral health clients.
• Identify clinically appropriate participating residential treatment providers to support treatment goals.
• Manage the residential referral process, including distribution of referrals, tracking responses, and documentation of facility activities.
• Collaborate with behavioral health homes, treating providers, and community partners to ensure timely submission of required clinical information.
• Monitor referral status and facility timelines to promote timely access to care and minimize delays in treatment facilities.
