Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Full-time Administrative Tech for evenings (3pm-11:30pm) with rotating weekends. You will perform unit-based reception, clerical and medical record functions, and serve as liaison between patient care units and other departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current student in a relevant field: Medical Assistant, EMT-B, Clinical Nurse Assistant, Patient Care Technician, or one year of health care experience.
• CPR – Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Performs basic patient care responsibilities, including vital signs and personal care as directed.
• Maintains patient rooms clean and restocked.
• Demonstrates hourly rounding behaviors.
• Collects and labels specimens and transports according to policy.
• Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.
• Assists with patient admission, orientation, ambulation, positioning, and discharge preparation.
