Job summary

Mesa Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an Activities Therapy Coordinator to lead and coordinate therapeutic activities for a diverse patient population. The role emphasizes individualized treatment plans, collaboration with physicians and therapy staff, and ongoing assessment and documentation of patient progress.

Ideal candidates will have a CTRS license and CPR certification, with experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or CTRS-required field.
• Current CTRS license as required by state
• CPR Certification
• CPI within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs considering cultural, religious, and disability factors.
• Develop initial and ongoing treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide therapy according to treatment plans and coordinate with the care team.
• Document patient progress in daily/weekly updates.
• Coordinate workflows and schedules of activity therapy staff.
