Job summary

Mesa Springs in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Activities Therapy Coordinator to join our behavioral health team. This full-time, days position focuses on developing and implementing therapy activities, assessing patient needs, and coordinating staff to achieve treatment goals.

Responsibilities include designing care plans, documenting progress, and coaching ATs while ensuring quality programming and adherence to treatment orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or related field; CTRS/MT-BC/ATR-BC credentials preferred.
• Current CTRS, MT-BC, or ATR-BC license as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification and CPI within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs using cultural, religious, and physical considerations to plan activities.
• Develop initial and subsequent treatment plans with measurable goals per physician orders.
• Document patient responses and progress daily/weekly.
• Coordinate workflows and schedules of Activities Therapists (ATs).
• Coach and onboard ATs to meet performance standards under supervision.
• Maintain AT budget and supplies for group programming.
