Qualifications

• Must qualify as a MHP or higher per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule 132.
• Ability to navigate and complete documentation in the electronic healthcare record.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide centralized diagnostic assessments including social histories and treatment needs.
• Identify the need for immediate crisis intervention services.
• Maintain documentation per center quality assurance procedures.

Skills

Bachelor’s in counseling, psychology, social work or another related field

Knowledge of DSM diagnoses

Ability to quickly establish rapport

Self-starter

Illinois Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC)

Education

Master’s degree in licensable field
