Job summary

Mass General Brigham Behavioral & Mental Health is seeking a Resource Specialist to support system initiatives by remotely assisting emergency departments, medical floors, and inpatient units. You will collaborate with the Program Manager and access team to improve patient throughput and access.

You will facilitate referrals, monitor capacity, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and document tasks in Epic while assisting with data collection, analysis (Excel), and reporting (PowerPoint).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s degree preferred
• Concentration in Social Work, Psychology, or Health Care preferred

Responsibilities

• Facilitate referrals for behavioral health care across departments and units
• Monitor system-wide capacity to guide placement
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
• Document and track tasks in Epic or other systems
• Assist with data collection, analysis in Excel, and reporting in PowerPoint
• Handle calls, emails, faxes, and chats from systemwide stakeholders
• Cross-cover central access tasks and inpatient throughput support
• Attend department meetings and assist with other tasks
