Job summary

The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh is seeking a Behavioral Health and ABA Service Ambassador to support administrative access and scheduling for Behavioral Health and ABA services. The role emphasizes understanding clinical workflows and delivering exceptional service aligned with CI's mission.

Based in Pittsburgh, this full-time role (Mon–Fri) includes scheduling, EMR data entry, pre-authorizations, and maintaining a welcoming waiting area while handling payments and receipts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 3 years healthcare or customer service experience.
• Experience with EMR and basic computer/phone technology.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• CPR/First Aid training; Child Abuse training provided.
• Clearances: Act 73 FBI, Act 34 Criminal Clearance, Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical support for scheduling, records, and pre-authorizations.
• Respond to referral inquiries via phone or websites.
• Assist clients with intake documentation guidance.
• Ensure accurate scheduling of appointments for BH and ABA services.
• Input client demographic and insurance data into EMR.
• Timely data entry for no-shows and cancellations.
• Maintain a welcoming waiting area and process payments/receipts.
