Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Behavioral Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with IDD through the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). You will implement a Behavior Support Plan under clinical supervision and provide 1:1 support in home and community settings.

Qualifications

• Prior DSP or caregiving experience required.
• Behavioral experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required by case).
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass background checks and required DDD clearances.

Responsibilities

• Implement an established Behavior Support Plan (BSP) under clinical supervision.
• Provide 1:1 support in home and community settings.
• Use proactive behavioral strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Support daily living skills, routines, and community engagement.
• Accurately complete service notes and required documentation.
• Communicate observations and concerns to supervisors and clinicians.
• Follow ISP goals, BSP guidelines, and NJ DDD requirements.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and respectful environment.
