Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey. The role focuses on promoting independence, daily living skills, and community engagement through one-on-one support.

You will work with clients according to their ISP, in home and community settings, ensuring accurate documentation and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable and motivated to make a difference.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
