Job summary

Delta-T Group seeks a Youth Behavioral Aide in the Los Angeles area to support high-risk youth in foster care environments. You will engage with youths, assist with schoolwork, and provide supervision appropriate to developmental needs.

Role requires experience with at-risk individuals and CPR/First Aid certifications; high school diploma or higher is required. Flexible, part-time opportunities available with weekly pay through DTG advantages.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide services for high and at-risk children and youth with behavior and/or mental health challenges.

• Engage with the youths. Assist with schoolwork and discuss life (likes or dislikes).
• Provide line of sight supervision without overwhelming the child.
• Redirect negative and problematic behaviors.

AVAILABLE HOURS

• Long term independent contractor or Part-time shifts
• Evening and weekend hours

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Provide services for high and at-risk children and youth with behavior and or mental health challenges
• Majority of work will be in Foster Care Homes, under the direction of caregiver/foster parent
• Engage with the youths. Assist with schoolwork and ask about their life (likes or dislikes)
• Provide line of sight supervision without overwhelming the child
• Redirect negative and problematic behaviors

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Experience working with at risk individuals (paid or unpaid)
• Produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid certification
• High School diploma or higher
• Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
