WellStone, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Aide for our Eastland location in Cullman, AL.

This full-time role involves providing instruction and support to clients in a group home setting, aligning with treatment care plans, and engaging with the therapeutic team to promote reintegration and life skills. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and CPR/SAMA/CPI certifications (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• Familiar with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• CPR, SAMA and CPI certifications or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent instruction, guidance, and reinforcement to clients in the group home setting.
• Document resident progress in Electronic Health Record in a timely manner.
• Coordinate activities, conduct group therapy, and maintain documentation promptly.
• Work closely with the Treatment Team and staff; complete notes and incident reports.
• Assist with safety procedures, de-escalation, and crisis interventions as needed.
• Possibly assist with lifting, transport, and housekeeping tasks; report issues promptly.

Goals of this position are to work help with reintegration, teach living skills, partner with therapeutic team and ensure treatment care plan is followed. Our BA's will learn proper documentation techniques and other state /federal standards followed by the Department of Mental Health, earn certifications in their trainings and create a path forward with a career in Mental Health. **We** **have a total of four positions.** **They are full-time, hourly position. Interested candidates should have the flexibility to work rotating holidays.
