Job summary

Wellstone is seeking a Behavioral Tech (BHT) to support residents in a group home setting, Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM. You will provide instruction on living skills, document progress in the Electronic Health Record, and assist in meal prep according to posted menus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Familiar with computers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent 3-year MVR (valid driver's license).
• Certified in CPR, SAMA, MAC1 (or ability to obtain).

Job Description: As a Behavioral Tech, employees care for clients in a group home setting working with individuals on living skills, social and financial skills. They follow treatment directions while providing key support to our therapeutic team. Our BHTs will learn proper documentation techniques and other state/federal standards followed by the Alabama Department of Mental Health (ADMH).
