Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Software Engineer for the Validation Foundations and Acceleration team within the Autonomous Vehicle (AV) organization in Sunnyvale. You’ll contribute to validation products, connect data pipelines, and deliver data-driven insights with Python-based prototyping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Advanced degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of behavior validation products and dashboards.
• Define and translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements and designs.
• Prototype and implement improvements using Python to accelerate feature development.
• Build reliable interfaces between data pipelines, workflows, and customer-facing dashboards.
• Improve scalability, reliability, and performance of validation tools.
