Job summary

General Motors in Michigan is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to lead automation and validation of Retail AV Data collection pipelines powering automated driving development at scale.

The role covers on-vehicle and bench validation, CI/CD, data quality benchmarks, and collaboration with SW and platform teams to ensure robust data collection for current and future ADAS/AV programs. Hybrid work arrangement requires reporting to Milford Proving Ground at least three times weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering/technical experience.
• Hands-on experience with on-vehicle or bench data collection and logs.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation for test authoring and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own RADC validation, test planning and defect triage for data recording behavior.
• Develop and extend RADC CI/CD and validation automation pipelines.
• Lead CI/CD bench readiness and automated flashing for benches.
• Design and run performance benchmarks for VTM tasks and data metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align validation priorities.
