Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning, Inc. in Trumbull, CT seeks a Behaviour Therapist to work in an Approved Private Special Education Program (ALL Academy), supporting students with social, behavioral, and academic needs under guidance of teachers and BCBA.

You will collaborate with school psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and occupational/physical therapists to implement individualized plans, promote independence, and help children reach their goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field strongly preferred.
• Experience working directly with children with disabilities.
• ABA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement each student’s educational and behavioural programs under supervision.
• Collaborate with teachers, BCBA, psychologists, and therapists to support student goals.
• Support students to improve independence and functional skills.
