Job summary

MeBe Family is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team in Tempe, AZ. You will work in 1:1 settings, either in homes or at our Learning Center, delivering evidence-based ABA interventions under BCBA guidance.

You’ll receive paid training to become an RBT, enjoy mentoring from clinical staff, and participate in continuing education. The role offers full-time benefits and opportunities to grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• RBT/CBT certification preferred; must obtain within 60 days of employment (MeBe will help you).
• Ability to frequently bend, lift up to 50 lbs, squat, sit, stand, and/or run.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• If residing in San Diego, AZ, or VA, must obtain CPR/BLS certification before working with clients.
• TRICARE-certified.

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting in the child’s home or at MeBe’s Learning Center.
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to increase communication, self-help, social and play skills.
• Record progress in Central Reach after each session.
• Clock in/out and submit session notes to comply with ABA and insurance regulations.
• Keep the workplace safe, organized, and compliant with policies.
• Assist with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks, and diaper changing.
• Build positive relationships with families while maintaining boundaries.
