Job summary

Patterns Behavioral Services, Inc. seeks a part-time Behavior Technician to implement 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with clients in home, clinic, and school settings.

The role involves supporting daily living skills, collecting data, and communicating with families and team members. Prior RBT is preferred but not required; 18+ with some college is expected, and driving to client homes may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with some college education in the field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.

Responsibilities

• Implement 1:1 direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques in-home/center and/or school settings
• Support with daily living and personal care routines—including toileting, hygiene, and self-care skills—using structured, individualized ABA strategies to promote independence.
• Collect accurate ongoing data on client’s programs
• Clear communication with all team members and parents/clients
• Compliance to all related company policies and procedures
• Attendance at staff meetings and trainings

• Some experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, direct support, education, or a related field
• Able to work Part-Time shifts M-F. Around 15-20 hours of work per week.
• Must be willing to work in clinic AND family homes
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential is preferred but not required
• Be at least 18 years of age with some college education in the field; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively using both written and verbal skills
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid automobile insurance
• CPR/First Aid Certified preferred
• Safety Care Trained preferred
