Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training so you can contribute even without prior experience.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test within the last year.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Follow BCBA guidance to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Support children and families through training and daily routines.
