Job summary

CentrIA Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior interventions under a BCBA's guidance.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. This role emphasizes patient, compassionate collaboration within a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Patience, compassion, and teamwork are essential qualities for supporting children with autism.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and teammates.
• Willingness to stay physically active to support children through activities.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test, and pass a background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Follow the BCBA's directions and document progress and observations.
• Provide a supportive, patient, and safe learning environment for each child.
