Job summary

Centria is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement individualized plans under the supervision of a BCBA and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. Candidates must be patient and committed to making a meaningful impact on children's lives while meeting physical requirements and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test within a year
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions ( sit, stand, bend, crouch, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.
