Job summary

Centria is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA’s guidance. You’ll use evidence-based methods to build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training, with a pay range of $19–$20 per hour. Candidates should be patient, team-oriented, and comfortable with physical tasks and lifting up to 50 pounds when

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and tuberculosis test; background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and promote positive outcomes for children with autism.
• Be able to stand, walk, and physically handle children or items up to 50 pounds as needed.
