Job summary

Hope Autism Clinic in Glen Carbon, IL is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician to support children with Autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This full-time role collaborates with BCBA teams and families to promote communication and early learning goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Successful background clearance.
• RBT credential from BACB preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the Hope Autism Clinic to teach children with ASD using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Effectively communicate with families/guardians about their child’s progress.
• Work with the treatment team to track session data and help clients achieve individualized communication and early learning goals.
• Assist with planning and preparing for clinic-based group activities.
• Model professional appearance and attitudes.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or human services related field
