Job summary

Finni Health - NM is hiring an ABA Behavior Technician (RBT) to work with BCBA-led teams, delivering one-on-one ABA therapy in home, clinic, or school settings in Las Cruces, NM. You will collect data, help children learn new skills, and participate in weekly supervision.

Training is provided, and you will be paid while you train for your RBT certification. The role offers part-time schedules with mileage reimbursement and potential benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred but not required.
• RBT certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person ABA behavior intervention in-home or in clinic.
• Collect and record data on child behaviors.
• Work with BCBA to implement ABA care.
• Attend team meetings and participate in supervision.

As an ABA Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement life-changing ABA care in-home. You’ll work one-on-one with our patients' families, helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones.

• Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting

• Collect and record data on child behaviors

• Be available weekly for supervision by the Behavior Analyst

• Attend team meetings

What You'll Need

• Minimum high-school degree or equivalent - ideally looking for candidates interested in pursuing careers within the field

• Experience working with children, and a passion for working with children with special needs

• Reliable Transportation

• Active CPR certification (Preferred)

• RBT certification preferred but not required!

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time

• Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Required)

Must be at least 18 years of age to meet regulatory, background check, and BACB eligibility requirements for behavioral healthcare providers
