Job summary

Finni Health - South NM is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician to provide in-home, one-on-one care under a BCBA supervision. The role includes data collection, direct intervention, and collaboration with families to support progress in learning new skills.

You will train toward RBT certification while earning wages, with paid training and flexible hours as part of a supportive team in Alamogordo, NM.

Qualifications

• Minimum high-school degree or equivalent.
• Experience working with children, especially with special needs.
• CPR certification preferred.
• RBT certification preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child's home setting.
• Collect and record data on child behaviors.
• Be available weekly for supervision by the Behavior Analyst.
• Attend team meetings.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Locations: Alamogordo, New Mexico

As an ABA Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement life-changing ABA care inhome. You'll work one-on-one with our patients' families, helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones.

What You'll Need

• Minimum high-school degree or equivalent - ideally looking for candidates interested in pursuing careers within the field
• Experience working with children, and a passion for working with children with special needs
• Reliable Transportation
• Active CPR certification (Preferred)
• RBT certification: (Preferred but not required, we will train you!)
• This role involves using technology every day, including tablets for real-time data collection, scheduling software, communication platforms, and electronic documentation.
• Experience using technology and software or platforms such as CentralReach, Catalyst, Rethink, or similar data collection systems is a plus!

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time
• Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time

License/Certification

• CPR Certification (Within 30 days of employment)
• RBT certification (Preferred but not required, we will train you!)

Must be at least 18 years of age to meet regulatory, background check, and BACB eligibility requirements for behavioral healthcare providers. Work Location: In person
