Job summary

ABS Kids in Matthews, NC is seeking Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for part-time roles with shifts 9:00am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday. Earn $18.00–$24.00 per hour, plus a $1,000 RBT bonus.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs on your resume.
• A heart for helping kids.
• A calm, steady presence.
• Eagerness and energy to play.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.
• Tech savviness to learn data collection software and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child!
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social, and emotional skills
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly

Job Requirements

$1,000 bonus for current RBTs. We have variable part-time shifts available for entry-level Behavior Technicians up to seasoned RBTs. Must have availability 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.
